Description
The Deployment Engineer migrates upgrades and configures hardware and Tyler software for on-premise and in the cloud customers. Continued growth in ever-evolving infrastructure Hypervisors Server Operating Systems and technology provides an exciting and challenging work environment.
The Deployment Engineer interacts directly with clients to meet and/or exceed stated departmental upgrade goals to stay current with Tyler software versions. Giving customers the opportunity to take advantage of all enhancements and warranty items to improve the customer experience. .

Responsibilities
- Performs upgrade services for existing clients in a live production 9-1-1 system according to schedule.
- Triage and querying databases on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Installs and configures web servers and deploys web products to clients.
- Learn and work with AWS Server Infrastructure.
- Consults with other departments to ensure safe deployment within live customer environments and collaborate with other teams to improve upgrade process.
- Documents results of service work performed for use by internal staff and customers.
- Position may require either travel to client sites or off-hours coverage based on customer demand.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology MIS or comparable work experience.
- Experience administering and installing applications on Windows.
- Experience configuring the Microsoft SQL Server database engine.
- Working knowledge of server hardware and network configurations.
- Basic knowledge of web server technology .NET framework and SSL security.
- Basic knowledge of web certificates is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in stressful situations.
- Ability to adapt to day-to-day challenges.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive professional attitude.
