Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. You will focus on improving the reliability scalability and performance of our systems working closely with engineering and operations to ensure smooth stable and efficient platform operations. You will also help improve the developer experience by automating workflows and building custom tools.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate production systems to ensure high availability and reliability
- Improve observability through better metrics logging tracing and alerting
- Automate manual and repetitive operations tasks to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design resilient scalable systems
- Improve developer experience by building custom tools and automating infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotations and handle incident response
- Conduct post-incident reviews and drive system improvements
- Benchmark test and optimize system performance and scalability
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines deployment workflows and infrastructure processes
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS (or other major cloud providers such as GCP or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Docker and container orchestration
- Solid Linux systems knowledge
- Programming skills in Golang Python Bash or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tools: ArgoCD Crossplane GitHub Actions Terraform Ansible
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and tools such as Vault AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Consul
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK Loki Datadog)
- Solid understanding of networking load balancing DNS and security

Our Tech Stack
Our engineering team leverages a variety of modern technologies. While working at Manatal you can expect to be exposed to the following stack:
