About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join an Acute Mental Health team of a Forensic unit in Cheshire where your expertise will support adults in crisis through meaningful recovery-focused interventions. Step into a collaborative and fast-paced environment where your skills will shape patient journeys from assessment to rehabilitation alongside a multidisciplinary team.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will provide high-quality person-centered care to adults experiencing acute psychiatric crises or detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA). As an Occupational Therapist in the Acute Mental Health/Forensic Unit you will conduct comprehensive functional and risk assessments develop individualized therapeutic interventions and support recovery-focused discharge planning. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) comprising psychiatrists psychologists nurses and social workers to manage complex mental health needs including forensic cases. Your responsibilities will also include contributing to risk management strategies facilitating therapeutic group programs and promoting structured routines to support patient rehabilitation.
