Location: London full time on-site

Are you an experienced Elasticsearch Engineer looking to make a real-world impact on critical national projects

Youll be joining a collaborative team dedicated to delivering complex sensitive technology solutions at scale with a clear focus on security resilience and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) environments ensuring high availability and performance.
- Design and deploy scalable Elasticsearch solutions for Observability and Search use cases.
- Implement robust security privacy and compliance controls across Elasticsearch systems.
- Optimise system configurations and queries to enhance performance and reduce latency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps Security Development) to integrate and support Elasticsearch across the wider ecosystem.
- Drive innovation and automation to improve platform efficiency and maintainability.
Experience Required:
- Deep knowledge of Elasticsearch architecture APIs and components.
- Experience in deploying and supporting ECE in production environments.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and data compliance (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
- Proficient in scripting/automation using Python Bash or Ansible.
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach.
- Bonus: Experience with Cloudera Hadoop CDSW or CML is a plus.
