Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join the delivery team on a major data centre construction project in Frankfurt. This is a high-profile role within a global contractor delivering mission-critical infrastructure for hyperscale and colocation clients across Europe.
As Electrical Engineer you will take technical responsibility for the design coordination installation testing and commissioning of complex electrical systems within a fast-paced data centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and quality of electrical systems including:MV/LV distributionUPSGenerators Switchgear Busbar Fire alarms Lighting
Coordinate with design consultants subcontractors and site management to ensure buildability and compliance
Support commissioning and FAT/SAT testing phases in collaboration with commissioning teams
Review technical submittals drawings and method statements
Ensure works are completed safely on time and within scope/specifications
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and progress reports
Candidate Requirements
10 years experience in an Electrical Engineering role ideally on data centres high-tech or industrial projects
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards in a mission-critical environment
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience working with international teams and subcontractors
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
Valid EU passport or work permit for Germany
