Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer

What is the opportunity

As Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer in Investor Services Cloud Platform team within T&O you will design implement and support Data architecture best practices and processes within Investor and Treasury Services across global organization in line with corporate vision. We are looking for strategic thinker and passionate data management enthusiast to drive and support leadership team on executing data strategy.

As a member of a dynamic fast paced team this role brings strong data architecture and data engineering skills and leadership effective written and verbal communication skills a strong work ethic and a demonstrated capability to multi-task effectively. This role requires strong interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills as well as a demonstrated sense of urgency to respond to changing priorities at times. This is complemented by a positive attitude and a willingness to take accountability for results achieved.

Must Have:

• 5 years of experience working as a software engineer using frontend frameworks such as and backend languages such as Python or Golang

• Strong platform engineering experience and experience implementing scalable distributed systems

• Working with building and maintaining DevOps pipeline such as Jenkins GitHub actions.

• Experience with MLOps on Azure Databricks

• Experience implementing monitoring solutions to identify system bottlenecks and production issues

• Hands-on experience building and deploying hybrid environments on-prem and major cloud environments such as AWS and Azure

• Strong experience implementing Infrastructure as Code in Terraform CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates

• Experience working with Databricks especially Azure Databricks

• Data engineering knowledge is helpful but not required for the role

• Experience with Power BI.

• Experience in create POCs to demo new capabilities.

Nice to have:

• Masters degree in Computer science or equivalent experience

• Automation/DevOps: Jenkins Selenium and similar technologies

• Source code control: GIT

• Experience working in agile/SaFe environment
