As part of our Higher Education team the Bachelor of Community Services program prepares students for real-world careers in human and community services through quality teaching ethical practice and hands-on learning opportunities.

About the Role

This is a strategic role for a max term period of 12 months. You will take the lead in developing and managing key industry partnerships across Western Australia to secure high-quality fieldwork placements for students. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing student employability maintaining compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards and supporting the long-term growth and reputation of our academic programs.

You will ensure all placements are safe supportive and aligned with course learning outcomes and workforce needs. Working in close collaboration with the academic staff and students you will also contribute to program planning quality assurance and continuous improvement initiativesensuring our students are well-prepared for meaningful careers in the community services field. This is a maximum 12 month contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and growth of strategic industry partnerships with community service providers across Western Australia ensuring sustainable collaboration aligned with institutional goals
  • Secure and maintain a reliable pipeline of high-quality compliant student placement opportunities that enhance real-world learning and graduate employability
  • Ensure placements align with curriculum objectives accreditation and regulatory standards and emerging trends in the community services sector
  • Represent Stanley College in industry-facing activities including stakeholder engagement site visits forums and networking events to promote long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with academic and operational teams to assess placement suitability monitor student performance and address concerns that may impact learning outcomes
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement by informing placement frameworks supporting accreditation efforts and aligning industry feedback with course development
  • Identify risks and barriers to successful placement delivery proactively escalate issues and propose innovative solutions that strengthen the overall placement strategy
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration by working with internal departments on initiatives that support student success institutional growth and quality assurance

About You

You take a hands-on solutions-focused approach to building relationships and driving outcomes. Your background combines strategic engagement with practical implementation and you bring the following skills and experience:

  • A proven track record in stakeholder engagement partnership development or growth-focused outreach
  • Experience in the community services education or health and human services sector (WA-based experience highly regarded)
  • A demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships across diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks related to student or workforce placements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification supporting your ability to communicate influence and deliver measurable outcomes

Knowledge & Skills

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across diverse audiences
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities with proven experience managing competing priorities
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset with a keen awareness of compliance risk and quality standards
  • High level of digital literacy including CRM systems data reporting and document management tools
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices ethical standards and continuous improvement
  • Current drivers licence and willingness to travel within WA as required

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement outreach or client-focused roles will support your success in this position.
