Work Schedule:
100% FTE 40 Hours per week. Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with alternate schedules to meet operational needs.

We are seeking a Child Life Services Manager to:
- Support the operations of the American Family Childrens Hospital (AFCH) Patient and Family Advisory Council act as a liaison to AFCH Hospital School and work in partnership with the Volunteer Program.
- Collaborate with philanthropy regularly to evaluate resources related to service line support within UW Health.

Education:
Minimum Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a relevant subject area such as Child Life Child Development Therapeutic Recreation Psychology or other related field
Preferred Masters degree in Child Life Child Development or Therapeutic Recreation. Masters degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration acceptable if Bachelors degree is in Child Life Child Development or Therapeutic Recreation.
Work Experience:
MinimumThree years of managerial experience related to child life services for a childrens hospital or five years managerial experience in a healthcare setting.
PreferredExperience in an academic setting including both inpatient and outpatient.
Licenses and Certifications:
PreferredCertification as a Child Life Specialists by Association of Child Life Professionals
