Are you a driven candidate with solid driving experience If so we are looking for you! We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver candidate who will partner with our team. The role is located at our Alvarado/Ft worth TX location.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be as-signed.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires lights brakes gas oil and water.
Drives truck or equipment to assigned location.
Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine maintenance on truck or equipment.
Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and practice them.
When assigned will open a work order so time may be charged out to assigning depart-ment.
Reports accidents to manager and HR immediately obtaining names license numbers and other de-tails.
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery of vehicle or equip-ment.
Must work with and for all departments in harmony.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Valid Class A or B CDL preferred but not required for position.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A minimum of two years driving/delivery experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High skill level driving heavy trucks. Highly detail oriented and organized in work. Ac-ceptable written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively and collabora-tively with a customer service focus with all levels of employees management and exter-nal agencies to maximize performance creativity problem solving and results. Must have initiative and the ability act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives. Must possess a strong desire to learn
