WHAT YOULL DO:
- Perform vascular and AB/general sonographic procedures.
- Cover various healthcare sites in Ada OK and surrounding areas.
- Inspect and review patient charts reports lab results and medical history.
- Create patient reports to assist the physician with documentation.
- Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
- Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
- Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
- Other duties assigned by managers
Please note that the duties and responsibilities of this position are subject to change and the employee may be required to performadditional tasks as needed.
IS THIS YOU
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with a specialty in VT AB or OB/GYN
- 1 year general ultrasound experience
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy applied ultrasound physics and clinical terminology
- Skilled with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance
- Calm compassionate and professional under pressure
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS
- Bachelors degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood body fluids or tissues.
This is an hourly non-exempt opportunity.
