About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join an Acute Mental Health team of a Forensic unit in Swindon where your expertise will support adults in crisis through meaningful recovery-focused interventions. Step into a collaborative and fast-paced environment where your skills will shape patient journeys from assessment to rehabilitation alongside a multidisciplinary team.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will deliver patient-centred care to adults facing acute mental health crises or detained under the Mental Health Act. You will perform functional and risk assessments design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions and support recovery-based discharge planning. Working within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which includes psychiatrists psychologists nurses and social workers you will manage complex mental health needs including forensic cases. Your responsibilities include facilitating therapeutic group sessions supporting rehabilitation through structured routines and contributing to service development. You will prioritize caseloads address shifting clinical demands and promote stability within a secure care environment.
