Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build test and deployment processes.
- Ensure that infrastructure is reproducible and consistent across different environments (dev staging production).
- Manage and deploy infrastructure on AWS.
- Ensure the infrastructure and deployment process is scalable and automated.
- Set up alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact production.
- Work closely with development QA and operations teams to ensure a smooth software delivery pipeline.
- Facilitate communication between teams to resolve issues faster and improve workflows.
- Manage security of the infrastructure ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner working on-call in case of emergencies.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recuring issues.
- Work within Agile framework to contribute to sprints and deliver features or improvements to the infrastructure and deployments.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new DevOps tools and technologies to improve workflows and development cycles.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Maintain existing builds and deployment solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience with one or more CI/CD Deployment Tools (GitHub Actions Jenkins Octopus Deploy or similar tools)
- 2 years of experience in languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience with Docker/Containerization technologies is a plus
- Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform is a plus.
