What Youll Bring:

  • 8 years of experience in product management
  • 5 years of experience in a technical or platform-focused role
  • Understanding of data pipelines ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift).
  • Familiarity with data lake architectures and real-time streaming (e.g. Kafka Spark).
  • Experience with tools like Looker Tableau Power BI or Mode
  • Understanding of semantic layers data modeling (e.g. dbt) and metric standardization
  • Knowledge of data lineage cataloging (e.g. Alation Collibra) and quality monitoring
  • Familiarity with privacy compliance (GDPR CCPA) and access control
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow Prefect)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira Confluence or Aha!

Impact Youll Make:

Technical Product Management plays a critical role at TransUnion as the conduit between our Sales Solutions and Engineering organizations. Our Solutions team define the what and why requirements and the TPM role partners with Solutions and Engineering on defining and executing the how technical requirements.

  • Product/Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the vision and roadmap for product/platform capabilities (e.g. Credit Marketing Fraud / APIs CI/CD pipelines cloud infrastructure developer tools).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering DevOps and product teams to understand needs and translate them into platform features.
  • Technical Requirements: Gather and prioritize technical requirements ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability needs.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product/platform features - from ideation to launch

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $150100.00 - $225000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience job-related skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
