What you will be doing:
As a Procurement Analyst you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing our procurement processes. You will be responsible for assisting with software and service purchases reviewing and negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective vendor relationships while gaining exposure to procurement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing negotiating and executing vendor contracts ensuring optimal pricing terms and risk mitigation while meeting business needs and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
- Manage and optimize procurement processes and tools including SaaS management procure-to-pay systems ERP and other related platforms.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize costs ensure service level compliance and support business units.
- Assist internal teams with purchase requisitions procurement process navigation RFP/RFQ execution approvals and contract documentation.
- Support budget management across departments ensuring alignment with company financial objectives.
- Enforce procurement policies and procedures ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices.
- Monitor supplier performance ensure contractual obligations are met and drive vendor performance reviews.
- Support initiatives for cost savings process improvements and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Finance or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Procurement experience is a plus preferably in a software or technology-driven company.
- Interest in learning software/SaaS procurement and managing vendor relationships in the technology space.
- Ability to learn and deploy strong contract negotiation skills for software professional services and business support functions.
- Familiarity with procurement systems (ERP procure-to-pay platforms SaaS management tools). Netsuite Zip or Brex experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and ability to analyze data to support cost optimization.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with finance legal IT and business stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
