Job Description

Individual will be part of a five-person department that will be supported by the Human Resources and Accounting departments. Primary focus will be on developing safety practices and procedures training accident/injury investigation enforcement of company policies and procedures administering discipline overall daily management of several employee types and adherence to our Strong Safety Culture. Secondary focus will be on Claims reporting Claims management and other overall Risk Management functions. Focus on a proactive approach to the prevention of Accidents/Injuries/Incidents. You will be involved in tracking and analyzing accident/injury/incident data identifying trends and developing proactive solutions to reduce both frequency and severity.

Daily routine will require plant and job site visits training and coaching employees accident/injury investigation administering discipline managing light duty employees and observing employees as they perform their job functions for adherence to company policies and procedures. Will have direct input into the future of our Safety and Compliance Department for proper staffing and ensuring that we are focusing and prioritizing the proper items. You will also be working with some of our sister companies in helping them develop and administer their Safety-Employee Management-Compliance program.
