Job Description
The University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) invites applications for the role of Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administrator.
The LMS Administrator oversees the MD program learning management system(s) (LMS) ensuring optimal operational performance. This role maintains course schedules user enrollments and content updates within the LMS and manages timelines communication and data reporting for accreditation purposes. Additionally the position involves reporting usage statistics managing integrations and providing end-user support to staff faculty and students. Collaborating with vendors and stakeholders across the University the Administrator promotes best practices and the effective use of learning technology tools to support MD program units. This position works closely with the curricular and student affairs teams at UNR Med to enhance the learning experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of competency in project management detail orientation problem solving analytical skills and policy and procedural compliance including accessibility. Effective communication will be integral to success in the role and will include articulation of complex system requirements and use cases to a variety of audiences liaising between groups effective delegation problem solving collaboration and customer service. Adaptable navigation of changes in curriculum and the initiative to address anticipated needs will support the success of both the incumbent and the institution.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and two years of related work experience OR
Masters Degree and one year of related work experience.
Related Experience: Project management utilization of web-based learning platforms experience in a networked environment.
