Commercial Manager Minneapolis MNADM Corn Processing
This is a full-time exempt level position.
Position SummaryThe Commercial Manager has full accountability for the profitable procurement of corn and all associated grain risk management activities for the Marshall MN corn plant. Manager will demonstrate the capacity to excel within a high-risk fast-paced work environment with the proven ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decision. This position will be responsible for developing and leading a team that consist of elevator management merchandising and support staff. This position is located in Minneapolis MN.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic and annual business plans to expand the business
- Supervise lead and develop full time elevator employees Identify and execute market opportunities in grain trading and asset utilization
- Manage key customer with an emphasis on enhancing customer service and relationships
- Communicate market intelligence and trends to Divisional management
- Reviews operations and direct sales and new markets
- Reviews expenses and inventories to maintain and enhance profitable operation of each elevator
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials employees and equipment
- Interface with other offices and divisions within ADM to analyze market conditions and trade activities to maximize profits
- Manage corn logistics to utilize efficiency cost effectiveness and customer service
- Establish personal and team goals aligned with divisional and corporate goals
- P & L responsibility for Marshall grain trading activities
Requirements- BS/BA in Marketing Finance Ag Economics or related field
- Minimum 4 years experience merchandising
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Strong ethical leadership abilities
- Results-oriented makes decisions and proceeds with confidence and purpose

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
