Job Description
Seeking Pump Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with our clienta top-tier industrial pump installation and repair companyin Pasadena TX

Pay: $35-40/H based on experience.
Job Responsibilities for Pump Mechanic:
- Receive disassemble inspect repair fabricate paint package/prep install and remove a variety of centrifugal pumps as well as other related rotating equipment
- Open communication with production coordinator and General Manager
- Safely load unload and move equipment as needed
Qualifications for Pump Mechanic:
- High School Diploma or Trade school or equivalent training.
- 3 years of work experience as pump mechanic with installationand repair experience.
- Ability to read pump drawings
- Safely use hand power pneumatic and hydraulic tools
- Ability to properly use various types of precision measuring equipment
- Experience or knowledge in NDT as in PMI Dye Pen and Mag Particle testing
- Experience and ability to use safely lifting devices such as cranes forklifts and rigging
- Experience or knowledge in welding preferred
Physical Requirements for Pump Mechanic:
- This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands fingers walking stooping and kneeling.
- It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds
- This position requires working in diverse conditions including open air shop and field environments
