Job Description

The Preconstruction Manager is a key member of the project team responsible for delivering trusted and high-quality preconstruction services to both internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a vital part in gathering analyzing and presenting data that helps guide project decisions from concept through bidding.

Responsibilities:
-Lead day-to-day execution of preconstruction services including feasibility studies conceptual and detailed budgeting value engineering and comparative cost analysis.
-Prepare detailed pricing proposals using market trends historical data material costs and subcontractor input to ensure accurate competitive estimates.
-Work collaboratively with owners architects consultants and internal teams during the design and preconstruction phases to smoothly transition projects into construction.
-Represent the company in client meetings presentations and interviews supporting efforts to win new business.
-Manage and delegate tasks across multiple projects ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
-Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors clients and team members.
-Support and mentor preconstruction team members through training and guidance.
-Contribute to maintaining existing client relationships while actively supporting new business development.


-(5-7) years of experience
-Relevant degree or experience
-Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong skills in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or similar Bluebeam and Adobe tools
-Solid understanding of building systems construction drawings and specifications
-Familiar with project scheduling phasing logistics and geotechnical reports
-Knowledge of LEED standards and OSHA 30 certification preferred
-Demonstrate initiative professionalism and a passion for construction in all aspects of the role.
-Positive adaptable and collaborative.
-Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking skills.
-Respectful resilient under pressure and a thoughtful problem-solver.
