The Global Power Market is amidst a fundamental transition from a central (Predictable vertically integrated one way) to a distributed (Intermittent horizontally networked bidirectional) model with increasing penetration of Renewables playing a key role in this transition.

Job Overview:
We are currently in search of an accomplished SAP FICO Functional Consultant who brings a wealth of experience in financial and controlling processes coupled with a robust understanding of SAP integration and data architecture design. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the SAP FICO module demonstrating proficiency in configuring and optimizing finance and controlling operations while ensuring seamless integration and efficient data management across the SAP landscape. This pivotal role is essential for enhancing our financial systems effectiveness supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Requirement Analysis and Solution Design: Engage with financial stakeholders and IT teams to capture and analyze requirements translating these into effective SAP FICO solutions that are aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
2.SAP FICO Configuration: Expert configuration of the SAP FICO module including General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Cost and Profit Center Accounting and Internal Orders.
3.Integration Solutions: Design and execute integration strategies for SAP FICO with other SAP modules (such as MM SD PP) and external systems utilizing SAP PI/PO SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or similar technologies to ensure a cohesive and efficient ERP ecosystem.
4.Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain a strategic data architecture within the SAP FICO domain focusing on data accuracy governance and compliance ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
5.Testing and Continuous Improvement: Lead thorough testing of SAP FICO configurations and integration points driving continuous improvement initiatives to refine functionality enhance user experience and optimize financial processes.
6.Training and Support: Deliver comprehensive training sessions and support to end-users ensuring proficient use of SAP FICO functionalities. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations integration designs and data management protocols.
7.Project Management: Effectively manage SAP FICO projects overseeing all phases from conception through to implementation ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope parameters.
Qualifications:
degree in Finance Accounting Computer Science or a related field.
2.5 to 10 years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant with demonstrated success in SAP FICO implementations integration and data architecture design.
knowledge of SAP FICO module configuration financial operations and reporting requirements.
expertise in SAP integration tools (SAP PI/PO SAP CPI) and best practices.
understanding of data architecture principles within an SAP environment focusing on financial data governance quality and compliance.
problem-solving analytical and project management skills.
communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with IT teams and business stakeholders.
FICO certification is highly preferred; additional certifications in SAP integration or data management are advantageous.
