NXTGEN is delighted to be working with a genuinely lovely and fast-growing accountancy firm based just outside of Sudbury to recruit an Accounts Senior. The workload is varied with the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and youll play a key role in building relationships and delivering a quality service. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
- Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies.
- Produce management accounts and VAT returns.
- Build strong client relationships and be their go-to point of contact.
- Review work prepared by junior team members offering support and mentoring where needed.
- Support process improvements and take initiative on client queries.
What the client is looking for:
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified (or qualified by experience).
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
- Passionate about delivering excellent client service.
- Ambitious and keen to grow your career in a supportive and progressive firm.
- Confident communicator able to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
