Cloud Backend Developer (m/f/d)
As a Cloud Backend Developer you will design and develop the SaaS version of our IT monitoring solution Checkmk. You will be leveraging AWS services and cloud concepts to build a scalable highly available solution which is running in Kubernetes. You are working closely with our Site Reliability Engineering team to jointly build Checkmk as a Service:
Cloud Backend Developer (m/f/d)
As a Cloud Backend Developer you will design and develop the SaaS version of our IT monitoring solution Checkmk. You will be leveraging AWS services and cloud concepts to build a scalable highly available solution which is running in Kubernetes. You are working closely with our Site Reliability Engineering team to jointly build Checkmk as a Service:
- Conception and development of a SaaS management application
- Design of backend service to run our management application on AWS
- Working with operations product management support and sales to convert requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with technology partners for system integration
Your profile
- University or technical college degree in the field of computer science IT security or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in this or similar role (you built it you run it)
- Experience working with and maintaining acceptance test
- Programming skills in Python
- Practical experience in the development of cloud services in dealing with container technologies (Docker Kubernetes) and in the use of infrastructure-as-code solutions (e.g. Helmor Terraform)
- Practical experience with AWS services or other cloud environments
- Experience in operating SaaS Solutions and common requirements in this area
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Passion for current technology developments and their application
- You enjoy contact with users
