Job Description
We are currently seeking a Remote Legal Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. You will be the voice of the firm listening with empathy capturing critical information and helping guide individuals toward the legal help they need.
Position Overview
In this full-time remote role you ll handle inbound inquiries assess case viability and ensure a seamless intake process that reflects the professionalism and care Washington Legal Group is known for. You ll work closely with attorneys and staff to keep cases moving forward and ensure clients feel supported from the very first interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inbound calls emails and web inquiries from potential clients
- Conduct intake interviews and gather key information about the legal matter
- Pre-screen cases for eligibility using firm guidelines
- Accurately input data into CRM and case management software
- Clearly explain the next steps in the legal process and maintain follow-up communication
- Coordinate closely with attorneys and team members to ensure timely responses and smooth transitions
- Maintain confidentiality and deliver a compassionate client experience

Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 year of experience in legal intake customer service or a client-facing support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with legal software such as Clio Lawmatics or similar tools is a plus
- Reliable internet and a quiet professional remote workspace
Compensation
$7 - $8 hourly
