Job Title: Senior Gynaecologist Consultant

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation in gynaecology diagnosing and treating patients with gynaecological disorders.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures including minimally invasive surgery to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations maintaining comprehensive medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create tailored treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor patients progress adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to include follow-up care.
- Educate patients and their families about health management preventive care and treatment options.
- Participate in developing clinical protocols and guidelines to improve patient care standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in gynaecology to enhance practice knowledge.
- Conduct and participate in clinical research studies to contribute to advancements in the field.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff and interns.
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote womens health awareness.
- Handle complex cases and collaborate with other specialists when required.
- Participate in hospital committees and contribute to policy-making discussions.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations policies and standards.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- MD in Gynaecology or Obstetrics from a recognized institution.
- Board certification in Gynaecology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting preferably in a consultant role.
- Proven expertise in performing advanced surgical procedures.
- Strong knowledge of gynaecological diseases and treatment methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Research experience with published works in relevant medical journals is a plus.
- Current knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Empathy and strong ethical standards in patient care.
- Fluency in English and local languages will be an advantage.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technologies.
- Commitment to continuous education and professional development.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.
