Summary
We’re seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to assess diagnose and treat patients with speech language and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology state licensure and excels in individualized care planning. Youll work with a diverse population maintain detailed records collaborate with care teams and educate patients and families throughout the therapy process.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language voice and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and therapy goals.
- Perform routine screenings and assessments to detect impairments and establish baseline functionality.
- Maintain detailed and compliant clinical documentation including progress notes care plans and outcome measures.
- Collaborate with patients’ families educators and healthcare providers to support continuity of care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on speech-related conditions therapeutic techniques and at-home strategies.
- Prepare and contribute to IEPs and related documentation when working with school-age populations.
- Track patient progress adjust care plans accordingly and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active and valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience in educational clinical or rehabilitative settings preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge of speech and language disorders their etiology and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and coaching skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation systems and patient data entry.
- Compassionate detail-oriented and comfortable developing IEPs.
