Job Summary:

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Professional to support the RSS Product Line for a program located onsite in Plano Texas (Dallas area). In this role the candidate will demonstrate project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management in support of our Naval Power customer. They will also ensure program success to cost/schedule/quality and manage supplier performance in meeting program needs. To be successful the candidate must be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management including supplier management.

What You Will Do:

  • Overall ownership of several over TINA suppliers with focus on collaborating with the Program IPTs to ensure cost effective material availability for production requirements.
  • Accurate sales forecasting of all assigned ETC.
  • Supports program capture efforts in working with New Business Team to get compliant material pricing submittals and developing BOEs (Basis of Estimates) for MPM support labor.
  • Creates manages and executes MPS (Material Program Strategy and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance; from the front end of the business through contract closure.
  • Provides comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensures IPDP compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable. Key activities typically include: financial management (i.e. EV budgets targets working capital material sales forecasts etc.)
  • Monitors and proactively addresses performance and financial metrics including those related to cost schedule quality and EVMS.
  • Collaborates with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution including other Raytheon programs commonality.
  • Overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance SCM metrics international issues Make/Buy Where strategy strategic agreements and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS ITAR offset public law quality warranty etc.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 18 months of relevant experience
  • Experience in supply chain and related systems

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Raytheon or similar Six Sigma Specialist
  • General understanding of working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
  • Experience reviewing statements of work for completeness and conformance to program requirements
  • General understanding in managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
  • Experience in preparation for and/ or support of negotiations with suppliers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word Excel and/or Power Point)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
