Job Description
Hospice Aide Full-Time
Pay: $17 per visit
Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Aide to join our growing team. This is a full-time per-visit position serving hospice patients with dignity and heart.
You must have a current Home Health Aide Certification (HHA) to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and comfort measures to hospice patients in their homes
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
Offer emotional support dignity and companionship during end-of-life care
Help maintain a clean safe and peaceful environment
Support patients and families during a sensitive and meaningful time
Observe and promptly report changes in the patients condition to the hospice care team
Requirements:
Current Home Health Aide certification
Previous experience in hospice or palliative care preferred
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
A heartfelt commitment to compassionate end-of-life care
