Schedule: 40 hours per week Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm

Department: Dining Services Department Chelsea Retirement Communities

What Youll Do in This Role:


The Scheduling Coordinator will maintain the master and bi-weekly schedule for the Dining Department at Chelsea Retirement Communities and complete other admin duties as needed.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain work schedules for assigned departments.
  • Assure appropriate staff are scheduled campus-wide based on census and resident needs.
  • Replace scheduled staff as necessary due to call-ins leaves of absence etc.
  • Maintain staff holiday schedule based on rotation for assigned departments.
  • Receive and manage time-off requests from staff.
  • Type file and distribute correspondence as directed.
  • Answer telephone take and deliver messages etc.
  • Perform payroll responsibilities for assigned departments.
  • Admin tasks as needed.


What Youll Need:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous experience entering schedules approving time and reviewing request off in ADP or a similar multi-functioning payroll system is required.
  • Previous experience as a Scheduler in a Healthcare or Dining setting is preferred.
  • Proficient level expertise with Excel Word and Adobe Acrobat is required.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
