You will participate in the design and arrangement of machines and sequence of operations to produce high quality products that comply with regulations and specifications. You will also contribute to cost-saving projects to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of products for our customers.
You should be an enthusiastic learner with the ability to be flexible and collaborate well with other engineers. Manufacturing is a dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities. You should be adaptable to this environment and have a bias for action.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Serve as liaison to production. Provide direct support to production operators and technicians in the form of technical advice fixture design and work instructions.
Your primary focus will be training and learning. You will spend the bulk of your time learning the business our products engineering tools and other business functions Collaborating with other Manufacturing Engineers on the team.
Participate in the design and arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure a more efficient and productive layout.
May propose the sequence of operations and installations and supports in specifying procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment and other processes which may include disassembly/assembly and repairs to ensure efficiency and optimize performance.
Participate in the development of manufacturing processes that are applicable to process control to ensure compliance and effective production.
May check and validate that mandatory modifications programs and bulletins are incorporated or complied with as required by the customer and the applicable regulatory requirements to ensure legal compliance and adherence to quality standards.
Design and develop manufacturing processes for products taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing. Such design and development may include new or revised processes.
Develop procedures to economically mass produce in cooperation with pilot-plant and production departments.
Conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables; and services troubleshoots and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
Review field support requirements and recommends tools and test equipment.
Determine maintenance and repair materials for deployment.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree 6 years of relevant experience.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Proficiency in SAP.
Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve manufacturing challenges.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks
Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels
