Job Description

HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT

Delivers safe and competent occupational therapy as ordered by a physician. Plans organizes and implements specific treatment programs or individuals patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Supervises work of support personnel.

Administrator/Home Health Care Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

Masters degree (or equivalent) in occupational therapy from an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)- accredited educational program. Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited educational program conferred prior to 2007 may be accepted.

Required Experience:

None

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • Current Florida Occupational Therapist license. Temporary permit may be accepted. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited instructor from the American Heart Association (AHA). Current Florida class E driver license.
  • Behavioral Criteria: Job requires a valid state driver license. Required to be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and with a minimum of two (2) years of licensed driving experience. Required to provide a seven (7)-year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) prior to employment. Will have received no more than two (2) minor violations in the past three (3) years and zero (0) major violations in the past five (5) years.
  • NOTE: Use of personal vehicle(s) required. Vehicle owner must maintain adequate insurance coverage for personal vehicle(s) used in conjunction with duties. Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) will reimburse the business use of personal vehicle(s) in accordance with procedures defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
