The role:

As a Commercial Financial Analyst you will help drive our goals by:

Your responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to the European Commercial BP and sales teams delivering real-time user-friendly financial support and insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Support performance management through financial analysis modelling and evaluation identifying value levers to drive business performance and strategic decisions.

  • Evaluate financial KPIs in the new business quotation process ensuring alignment with Clean Airs P&L and balance sheet objectives and contributing to profitability improvement plans.

  • Lead the customer inflation claim module ensuring accurate data sharing compliance with customer requirements and supporting resolution of customer issues and commercial terms.

  • Track customer profitability support Commercial Excellence and Pricing Excellence initiatives and ensure alignment with short- and long-term financial planning.

  • Support annual budgeting and long-range planning for sales drive implementation of global finance processes and ensure compliance and financial controls across the European commercial function.

Requirements for the role:

  • Education & Professional Qualifications: Masters degree essential; professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA CIMA) desirable.

  • Experience: Strong finance background with significant experience in large corporates; industry experience in chemicals or automotive is advantageous.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel PowerPoint PowerBI; ability to interpret strategy into actionable objectives over medium to long-term horizons.

  • Communication & Influence: Excellent communication influencing and English language skills; able to manage and engage diverse stakeholders across geographies; additional languages desirable.

  • Leadership & Behavioural Competencies: Strategic thinker results-oriented trusted collaborator effective change agent and role model of JM Values; capable of translating policies into operational processes.

  • Finance Competencies: Advanced in business planning financial performance and commercial value maximisation; intermediate in financial control risk reporting tax treasury and leadership dimensions.
