Teaching Assistant KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2) Small Primary School in Islington 90105 per day
A friendly and nurturingsmall primary school in Islingtonis seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticTeaching Assistantto support in aYear 1 or Year 2 classfromSeptember 2025.
This is ageneral classroom support role ideal for someone who is passionate about early learning and looking for a long-term opportunity.
Full academic year contract with the potential to becomepermanent from September 2026.
Role Details:
- Position:KS1 Teaching Assistant (Year 1 or Year 2)
- Start Date:September 2025
- Location:Islington London
- Pay:90 105 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours:8:00am 3:30pm or 8:30am 4:00pm
- Contract:Long-term with opportunity to go permanent
Responsibilities:
- General classroom support alongside the class teacher
- Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Supporting classroom routines preparing resources and encouraging positive behaviour
- Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working in a primary school (preferably KS1)
- Be reliable proactive and positive in approach
- Have a caring attitude and good communication skills
- Be confident supporting a range of learning abilities
