This role BusinessDevelopment Manager - Healthcare - leads thecharge in selling the dealerships product and services through knowledgesharing to new business opportunities in the healthcare sector. Using yourstrong industry knowledge and business development skills you will leverageyour established networks of industry influencers including the BC healthauthorities (PHSA PHC VCH FHA IHA NHA and VIHA) commercial real estatecontractors project managers and A&D to uncover leads and ultimately closebusiness achieving assigned sales targets.

This is a full-time permanent position working out of our impeccably designed and furnished office in Toronto ON. Youll mostly work from 8:00 am 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with irregular or extended hours as projects demand.

The successful candidate will be responsiblefor Lead Generation Selling Managing Quotes Sales Implementation and relationshipmanagement through serving of customer accounts. The Business DevelopmentManager will also be responsible for the following:
- Generate early stageleads by effectively building raving fans within your industry influencergroup including business groups real estate brokers A&D community local communityorganizations industry organizations such as IFMA BOMA etc.
- Research for leadsthrough business journals newspapers industry periodicals and publicationsinternet etc. and cold calls potential clients in person or by telephone orcombination
- Participates indealership lead generation programs such as open houses industry events and followup diligently on leads provided by the dealership
- Attend sales teamand customer meetings as required and work collaboratively with team members toachieve annual sales goals and business objectives
- Submit weekly salesforecasts for pipeline review along with business plan for growth
- Makes persuasiveknowledge-based presentations to customers on dealerships insights productsand servicesin person through graphical electronic means
- Develops detailedaccurate and professional looking quotes through own effort with the support ofa project manager and presents these to the customer in a timely manner
- Works with servicedepartments to develop service contracts to present to customer when complexservices are sold (design for instance) or for major projects (installationdesign project management)
- Provides accountingdepartment with timely information for any necessary credit checks
- Specify productpricing product research sourcing new products and technical orderinformation including custom requirements.
- Work withmanufacturers to obtain lead times contracts discounts and pricing for orderquotes.
- Communicate withclients regarding pricing and lead times and works with manufacturers regardingchanges to orders regarding product specification.
- Initiate the servicequote requests for deliveries of small and major orders
- Responsible forsetting up the sale so that it can be efficiently managed and administered bythe dealership and the dealership operations and business personnel
- Accurately verifyinput and communicate all relevant information surrounding orders to ensuretimely delivery and accurate billing including working with internal systemsand with both internal and external service providers and vendors
- Stays involvedthroughout sale implementation to ensure that any bottlenecks or changes inscope are identified and resolved and that both customer and dealership aresatisfied
- Provide responsiveand timely responses to customer inquiries and assist in any issue resolution

- Youare confident while interacting at higher levels of an organization. Yourentrepreneurial drive resourceful nature and background in businessdevelopment allows you to support customers with the many tricky decisions thatcome along keeping their projects on track.
- Your in-depth knowledge of theirbusiness and needs will win you a seat at the table as a trusted advisor inconceptual planning and design discussions.
- You will lead all aspects of the sales process from conceptualizationsolution development quoting product application and specification with thegoal of achieving your sales targets.
- Your clients will know how their projectis progressing in relation to key timelines. Experience working in the contractoffice furniture industry is an asset.
- Project management experience and experiencewith P3 projects is also considered an asset. It would be helpful for thecandidate to understand design within healthcare facilities and the specialnuances of interior design and furniture requirements in healthcare facilities.
- Theseare complex sales where youll manage competing priorities multiple internaland external stakeholders and varying deliverables. Your adaptabilityresilience and experience in a similarly complex sales environment will becrucial for your success here. The number of projects youll have on the go atany given time will vary depending on their size and scope. The team youlljoin is collaborative and successful.
