3rd Shift Production Supervisor
Direct opportunity
Hours: 10pm-6:30am M-F
Rate: $28-30/hr plus $2.50 shift differential
Cincinnati OH
Responsibilities:
- Oversee proper machine setups changeovers and adjustments to ensure the continuous operation of production equipment.
- Ensure quality assurance standards are being met by best possible settings and optimal conditions of the production equipment.
- Enforce all quality control testing measures are being performed and documented.
- Communicate any mechanical issues to maintenance supervisor.
- Maintains staff by orienting and training employees for developing personal growth opportunities.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment and resources maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Communicates and manage daily production schedule along with providing direction production changes of day-today operations.
- Ensure that plant is meeting production quality and scrap goals.
- Staffing allocations receive call-ins approve workday changes and keep attendance records.
- Oversees training of production personnel.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Trade School (required)
- College education (preferred)
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must have good oral and written communications
- Must be a team player
- Create an environment orientated to trust open communication creative thinking and cohesive team effort
