What youll do

As part of the Corporate FP&A Topline team this person will partner closely with a broad team of leaders across Revenue Accounting Go-to-Market (GTM) and Product FP&A Pricing & Packaging and Finance leadership to drive accurate and timely revenue reporting and forecasting. This role is expected to continually search for deeper understanding of revenue performance drive process improvements and automation and continue to expand upon and improve reporting to drive decision-making. You will be the owner of the consolidated revenue forecast including analyzing and reporting on variances and identifying key insights that can drive business performance. This high-visibility role will require excellent communication skills as you will regularly engage with senior leadership and serve as a key strategic partner.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director Corporate FP&A Topline.

Responsibility

  • Lead revenue forecasting processes grounded in key business drivers and operational data metrics enabled through cross-functional collaboration

  • Own the monthly quarterly annual and long-range planning processes for approximately $3 billion annual total company revenue

  • Perform the monthly revenue actuals review process including accurate and actionable reporting on revenue viewed through various frameworks including: region customer segment sales channel and product

  • Develop presentation materials and supporting communication of results and key insights to finance leadership on a monthly basis

  • Leverage data and insights to highlight risks and opportunities within revenue to drive business decision-making

  • Identify areas for process improvement and automation utilizing AI when appropriate in order to streamline reporting and improve forecasting functionality

  • Support ad-hoc requests from Sales Product and executive teams related to revenue

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA/BS degree in Finance Business or related field
  • 8 years of experience in Finance with emphasis on forecasting planning financial analysis and financial modeling with relevant work experience in Corporate FPA or as a Finance business partner
  • Experience with revenue forecasting including an understanding of key revenue recognition components and revenue models
  • Experience with Microsoft Office using modeling skills
  • Experience with Google suite

Preferred

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across international teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fundamental understanding of Subscription-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model
  • Experience in SaaS revenue metric reporting and understanding of best-in-class SaaS revenue forecasting practices
  • Ability to think strategically about complex business problems leading to recommendation and action plans
  • Proactive results oriented with can do attitude
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • High degree of analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong financial acumen with proficiency in accounting principles and corporate finance
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights and Oracle or other large well-known ERP and accounting systems

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $126900.00 - $197800.00 base salary

Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $120800.00 - $174525.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
