Description

Commercial Loan Officer

Willamette Valley Bank is seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Commercial Loan Officer to manage develop and grow a portfolio of commercial clients. This role focuses on business development credit risk management and supporting the long-term success of commercial lending relationships.

Embedded within the Commercial Lending team this role collaborates closely with the Chief Lending Officer and branch leadership to identify opportunities manage credit quality and maintain a high level of client service. All lending authority credit approval and policy oversight remain under the purview of executive leadership and credit administration.

Some of the Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Source develop and manage profitable commercial loan and deposit relationships
  • Structure and negotiate credit terms including repayment schedules collateral and pricing
  • Conduct credit analysis prepare loan presentations and present to credit management
  • Monitor and manage an assigned loan portfolio including delinquencies and covenant compliance
  • Review and analyze borrower financials to ensure ongoing creditworthiness
  • Ensure loan documentation accuracy and compliance with regulatory and policy standards
  • Represent the Bank in the community and participate in business development activities

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of commercial lending experience
  • Strong knowledge of C&I CRE and SBA lending
  • Proficient in financial analysis and credit structuring
  • Skilled in portfolio management and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Familiar with lending regulations and bank credit policies
  • Bachelors degree in business finance or equivalent experience
