Description
Maintenance and Collections Technician staff member will be responsible for collecting money from parking meters and pay stations providing for the maintenance and repair of all meters and pay stations responding to inquiries or complaints regarding meters and pay stations and ensuring for cleanliness and proper working condition of Lexington-Fayette County KY parking signage meters and pay stations. Other responsibilities include routine maintenance assignments in each of the LEXPARK facilities.
Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- Local geography including the location of streets public buildings and other public facilities.
- Smartphones computers and related applications.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Communicate clearly effectively and concisely with those contacted in the course of work.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely.
- Ability to:
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
- Walk for extended periods of time.
- Work independently under adverse conditions.
- Lift moderately heavy items such as equipment records boxes immobilization devices coin bags concrete bags (up to 70 lbs)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience involving maintenance custodial or technician duties.
- Hold a valid Kentucky drivers license.
- Pass abackground.
