The TBIT Refresh Office Engineer reports to the TBIT Refresh Project Manager and is responsible for assisting the TBIT Refresh Project Manager with managing the scope schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction-related activities for TDIPs Terminal Refresh project. The Terminal Refresh project covers the TBIT departures and arrivals halls. It is intended to address outdated finishes and passenger processing functions in areas of the airport that have not had major renovations over the past 10 years.
Essential Job Duties
Assist the TDIP Refresh project team in the receipt distribution and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence document and plan control function input data into Prolog and prepare management information status report as required.
Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in Prolog the project information system.
Maintain project files and document / submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). Work with the TBIT Refresh Contractor(s) to ensure the drawings are posted efficiently and in a timely manner. Distribute documents submittals and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments obtain management approval and issue responses to TBIT Refresh Contractor(s).
Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations
and meetings.
Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such
as: attend and document project meetings (write agendas and minutes) perform
expediting functions and prepare and maintain an expediting log; etc.
Hardware/Software Knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred
Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications
5 yearsor more experience preferably on airport projects
Experience with projects more than $50 million in value.
Experience with various delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build
DesignCMAR and Design/Build
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of
industry practices and regulations
Education/Training
Bachelors degree in engineering Construction Management or other related field required
Optional certifications may include AAAE LEED PE PMP AICP etc. or any other relevant professional license or certifications.
Compensation Range:
