Job Description
We are currently seeking a part-time Custodian for an office building in ina Haina. This position requires strong communication skills and a customer service mindset. While prior experience in housekeeping janitorial work or related fields is beneficial we are willing to provide training. Candidates should be prepared to work at a fast pace which includes walking standing for extended periods and pushing carts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas of the facility
- Communicate effectively and comprehend English
- Interact with customers vendors and management
- Clean and maintain various areas: sweeping mopping cleaning glass doors and mirrors maintaining restrooms and using a buffer machine in designated areas
- Clean office spaces
- Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning
- Clean restrooms and restock supplies
- Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas
- Lift trash from bins bend and navigate staircases
- Stand and walk for long durations
- Push trash bins as required
Schedule: Monday to Thursday and Saturday: 3 PM to 9 PM (30 hours per week)
Compensation: $16-$17/per hour
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but we are willing to train
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Strong public relations and communication skills
- Applicants must be able to perform basic manual labor clean common areas frequently lift push pull and carry a minimum of 30 lbs (up to 50 lbs) and be capable of reaching overhead grasping objects bending kneeling crawling squatting climbing stretching walking and navigating stairs throughout their shifts.
