Job Description
- Develop and maintain Process Design Kits (PDKs) tailored to in-house fabrication technologies
- Provide comprehensive support across IC design CAD tools including:
- Cadence schematic entry and mixed-signal simulation
- Physical layout verification logic synthesis and place & route
- Custom SKILL code development and Mentor Calibre DRC/LVS/xRC runset generation
- Handle CAD software installation licensing user support and act as the primary vendor interface
- Collaborate with IC layout and device engineers offering guidance for tapeout processes PCELL development and power device layout optimization
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
- 12 years of relevant experience (or 10 years with a Masters degree)
- Proven expertise in:
- PCELL and PDK development
- Creation of custom DRC/LVS/xRC runsets using Calibre tools
- SKILL scripting and/or similar automation languages
- Place & route tools (Encounter) Cadence VSR & EMIR
- Solid understanding of semiconductor process flows and IC manufacturing
- Experienced in supporting global design centers with CAD infrastructure
