A Day in the Life
Medtronic is seeking detail oriented Assemblers to join our Post-Sterile Packaging team in Billerica.In this role you will be responsible for handling and packaging sterilized medical devices with precision and care to ensure they meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.
This critical position requires a strong quality focus and attention to detail as you will be working with products at their final stage before distribution.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm.
Compensation:
- Base hourly rate: $24/hr
- Quarterly Operations Incentive bonus
- PTO - 4 weeks / year
- Paid holidays - 10 / year

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform post-sterile packaging operations ensuring devices are handled and packaged in compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of sterilized products and packaging to identify defects or deviations.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation including packaging and quality records.
- Operate post-sterile packaging equipment and adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with quality and production teams to address any issues identified during packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety and regulatory protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize packaging processes and maintain product integrity.
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have!)
- Requires minimum of 4 years of experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation requirements.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional proficiency in English (reading writing listening speaking)
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have!)
- Prior experience in post-sterile packaging or similar roles.
- Knowledge of ISO and FDA regulations related to medical device manufacturing.
- Experience with packaging equipment and sterilization processes.
