Job Description
Sports Direct is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in London United Kingdom. As a key member of our retail staff you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales performance.
- Drive sales to achieve and exceed store targets
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge to customers assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Assist in maintaining high store standards and implement visual merchandising guidelines
- Process and replenish stock efficiently to ensure product availability
- Ensure accurate pricing of products throughout the store
- Support regular stock inventory processes
- Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment
- Adapt to changing priorities and peak trading periods with a flexible approach
Qualifications :
- Genuine passion for customer service and ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Strong goal orientation with a drive to achieve and exceed targets
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
- Confident and outgoing personality with the ability to approach customers proactively
- Adaptable and flexible work ethic willing to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Team player mentality with a willingness to support colleagues
- Enthusiasm for promoting Sports Direct values and culture
- Interest in sports and fitness (preferred but not essential)
- Previous retail experience (advantageous but not required)
