Position Overview

As a Sales Account Representative at Hutcheon & Pearce youll be the go-to expert for customers across your designated Area of Responsibility (AOR) guiding them to the right equipment solutions for their needs.

From compact construction gear to large-scale construction and agricultural machinery forestry equipment to ride-on mowers youll offer tailored advice that helps drive customer success. You will be more than just a salesperson youll be a strategic partnerstaying ahead of product developments finance options and industry trends to deliver smart value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Represent the company in machinery sales building lasting relationships with customers.
  • Stay informed on product features benefits and competitive offerings.
  • Engage in ongoing sales training to sharpen your skills and industry knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using sales tools like EQUIP Handle and Sales Centre.
  • Follow a structured sales process to ensure smooth and successful transactions.
  • Conduct hands-on equipment demonstrations in the field.
  • Assist customers with financing options to secure new and used equipment.
  • Support customers beyond the sale working with Service Specialists to optimise equipment performance.

The Ideal Candidate should have:

  • 1 years equipment sales experience.
  • Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports.
  • Attention to detail.
