Maternal and Child Health Clinical Educator

The Clinical Educator for Maternal Child Health is responsible for the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of the orientation process for all new MCH employees as well as the continuing education for established staff. This position will work collaboratively with Unit leadership to follow the scope of practice for Nursing Professional Development and other nursing governing bodies that apply to Maternal Child Health (AWONN ACOG NNA AORN). This position will assume full responsibility as a registered nurse on MCH and will be expected to do so in times of high census or inadequate staffing as directed by MCH Director.
