Hearst Magazines Enthusiast Group is seeking a creative and dynamic Temporary Associate Video Producer to join our Content Hype Team! This role is perfect for a visual storyteller who can conceptualize produce and edit compelling video content designed to engage inform and captivate audiences across various platforms.
The Content Hype team is a newly formed team that uses highly creative repackaging reformatting remessaging and redistribution as well as occasional topic-adjacent original creations in order to highlight and promote hype up content that is key to our brands success. Examples include projects such How to Master the Marathon from Runners World How to Master the Century from Bicycling Train with Runners World and individual service news review and feature stories that show strong potential for high performance in metrics such as membership conversion and retention and affiliate commerce.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute video content strategies tailored for platforms like Instagram TikTok YouTube and Facebook.
- Shoot edit and produce high-quality videos including short-form content teasers product showcases and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align video content with brand messaging and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with social media video trends platform algorithms and audience preferences.
- Manage video production schedules deadlines and resources to ensure timely content delivery.
- Analyze video performance metrics and make data-driven improvements to increase engagement and reach.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video production editing and storytelling for social media.
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or comparable tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for video content.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset attention to detail and ability to adapt content for diverse audiences.
