The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient and accurate receiving of product into the store to maintain accurate inventory count
appearance of the store and safety for the customers. This position will also assist in maintaining an efficient overstock system of
product in order to achieve maximum sales volume and meet the needs of the customers.
Responsibilities
Prepare the store to be ready to receive merchandise.
Unloading the product from the Do It Best corporate
truck twice a week.
Making sure that the product is brought into the store
in a safe efficient manner while maintaining the
integrity of the product Boxes into the store totes
to Pipe Room paperwork to Inventory Manager.
Keep the middle of the aisle clear ensure all product
is to the side of the aisle for safety.
Unpack items to be stocked on shelves.
Check that the UPC SKU Price and written
description physically on the product match the tag
currently on the shelf.
Communicate any questions or concerns to the
Inventory Manager immediately.
Rotate product on the shelves to ensure integrity of
product and appearance. Bring old stock forward and
place new stock behind.
Report concerns or questions about overabundant
quantity of product to the Freight Lead immediately
as there are time limits on returns.
Place overstock in designated area to be stored.
Reporting awareness of hardware without tags loose
tags or other questions to Inventory Manager
Make sure the maximum quantity of product is on the
shelves or pegs at ALL times.
Know where all overstock and seasonal product is
located in the store.
Keep all overstock on the sales floor or in the
overstock areas clearly marked/labeled so product
can be easily located by anyone on the team.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
