The Global Supply Chain & Logistics (GSCL) Product team is part of a broader Operations Strategy Product and Innovation (SPI) team which provides shared capabilities across Operations to enhance ease and efficiency for both frontline team members and guests. The SPI team brings together expertise from Stores and GSCL who specialize in product strategy and innovation. This centralized team will help prioritize investments that deliver newness ease and value for our guests and frontline teams so we can move quickly on good ideas and allocate resources in line with our long-term goals. The team plays a key role in developing a clear roadmap that aligns with the companys Strategy and Long-Range Plan (LRP).
Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product technology and design work.
The Inventory Management Application (IMA) team is responsible for the user experience that enables Global Inventory Management Team Members the ability to purchase manage and maintain balanced inventory. Our Team Vision is to provide an efficient and intuitive user experience that enables Target to get the right product to the right place at the right time.
As a Product Manager on the IMA team you will help define and execute the product strategy ensuring scalability efficiency and a seamless user experience that meets business and operational needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams leveraging product discovery to gather user feedback analyze data and prioritize initiatives that enhance usability and drive measurable outcomes. Strong product acumen is essential with the ability to connect product functions to OKRs and articulate their impact on business efficiency and user experience. Additionally you must demonstrate business acumen to understand inventory management complexities and communication skills to engage stakeholders and end users effectively.
You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organizations direction. You will foster sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
4 years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience in Inventory Management
Ability to articulate value of work how it supports OKRs and speak to business outcome it enables
Existing technical aptitude or demonstrated curiosity to learn
Experience working in an agile environment
Strong communication skills at varying levels (peers stakeholders leaders)
Collaborative and inclusive mindset fostering a team culture of shared success open communication and diverse perspectives to drive better product outcomes
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
