Job Description

Maintenance Associate/General Laborer - Temporary - FT/ Day Shift

The Maintenance Associate/General Laborer is responsible for performing building equipment and grounds maintenance for the Greeneville City School System repairing and maintaining machinery wiring fixtures and physical structures. This position will perform on site maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures moving furniture assist in repairs and making wood or metal items. In addition they will also maintain and assist with the district-wide maintenance work order system including coordinating work orders and will also be responsible for maintaining records and issuance of door temporary full-time position will work 40 hours per week and DOES include benefits. The ending date of this position is to be determined.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Applicants must have one (1) year of maintenance experience (i.e. HVAC electrical plumbing carpentry painting or general building trade). Maintenance certification preferred. Must have a current valid Tennessee drivers license.

Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
