Home Care Scheduler Senior Helpers East San Diego CA
Hourly Rate:$26/hour benefits

We are a compassionate and growing home care agency dedicated to providing exceptional care to seniors and individuals in need. Were seeking a proactive organized and tech-savvySchedulerto join our East San Diego team and play a key role in supporting both our caregivers and clients.
Position Overview:
The Scheduler is responsible for efficiently coordinating caregiver schedules ensuring client needs are met and providing excellent communication over the phone and through our scheduling software. Youll work closely with caregivers clients and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage daily and weekly caregiver schedules
- Coordinate shift coverage for call-outs and schedule changes
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and clients regarding scheduling updates
- Accurately input and maintain data in our scheduling system (WellSky)
- Collaborate with the care management team to match caregivers with appropriate clients
- Track availability time-off requests and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
Qualifications:
- Previousscheduling experiencerequired (home care or healthcare preferred)
- Strongtechnological proficiency(experience with scheduling software or EMR systems)
- Excellentphone communication skillsand customer service mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity withWellSkysoftware is astrong plus
