General Superintendent
***This role is located at Savannah River Site in Aiken SC.***

General Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
- Manager schedules for staff job equipment and 90-day schedules
- Mike final decision on all hiring/terminations
- Review all phase plans and ensure the planning process is being followed
- Train develop and mentor Level 1-3 Superintendents
- Ensure Superintendents are planning work 3 weeks in advance using unit rates and quant
- Review and submit equipment requisitions
- Review division contract administration operations; recognize needed contract changes
- Comprehensive knowledge of all safety and quality policies
- Experience managing and handling union trades and halls
- Complete understanding of the PLA (Project Labor Agreement) they would be working toward
- Experience managing and handling the customers expectations
- Ability to articulately lead daily or weekly meetings with the customer explaining our position our schedule and our needs
- Experience with effectively managing and handling our subcontractors understanding that we are successful when our subcontractors are successful
- Requiring the subcontractor to perform to our standards of quality and safety and keep them on track to full fill our needs
Qualifications:
- 10 years experiences as a heavy civil project superintendent or area superintendent
Requirements:
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.
- Subject to a background screening process
